We have been raising llamas for 12 years. We raise llamas that are short wooled so that they don't have to be sheared. The crias are born right in the pastures with the sheep and goats. We have actually witnessed our llamas chasing coyotes and stray dogs out of our pastures. We believe that the llamas make good guard animals.
