Jeanette bought her first milk goats in 1982 to raise orphaned lambs, and we have continued to raise milk goats for this purpose ever since. Our herd includes Oberhasli, Alpine and LaMancha - all of which are registered with ADGA. We strive to produce heavy milkers that are capable of raising up to six lambs at a time. We normally kid out in January and February, and the doe’s raise their own kids. Upon weaning, we give them lambs to raise. Some of our doe’s have raised their own kids and three different sets of lambs in a season. In addition, we have never had a goat test positive for CAE!!! All of our does are broke to lead. They are also all broke to a milking stand and have been milked by hand and by machine. Doelings are available from birth to weaning and cost $125.00 each.
